Research for the Asian Insurance Competency Report has been conducted by the the School of Risk Management and Insurance, formerly, the Center for Insurance Studies, at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) since 2008. From the global economic crises through economic recovery, insurance companies have endured great tests of their financial stability. Their financial strength and ability to manage corporate risks have become critical issues for regulators and consumers alike. The AIC research has continuously followed 10 Asian insurance markets and focused on the competency of the insurance company across the region.

In addition to financial data analysis, we have also developed the executive survey. This survey was designed as an important component in our comprehensive research in order to build a more accurate model of company competency. We are seeking your assistance in completing the survey.

Any responses and contact information collected through this survey will be used exclusively for Asian Insurance Competency Report research. The School or Risk Managment and Insurance, formerly the Center for Insurance Studies, will not disclose, sell, or share any of the information with any third party. As an expression of gratitude for completing this survey, you will receive a copy of our final analysis, which will contain information on the performance and ranking of insurance companies in the region.
