Welcome to the Center for Real Estate
The Center for Real Estate, located in the Cal State Fullerton College of Business and Economics, is part of the broader 23-campus institute California State University system's applied research and professional education institute for real estate and urban land use. The CSUF branch was established in 1996.
The goals of the center are to promote real estate education and to move the frontier of knowledge in real estate related fields.
Currently, seven faculty members in the Department of Finance are involved in either the teaching or research on real estate related subjects. Our faculty members have published numerous articles in prestigious academic and professional real estate and finance journals. They also write books and teach cases on real estate subjects.
The Center for Real Estate offers a real estate program designed for students who are principally interested in careers in the real estate industry. The program covers general and specialized real estate knowledge that is applicable to professional areas such as real estate finance and investment, brokerage, market analysis, and appraisal as well as being pertinent to the acquisition, development, management, and disposition of real property. With a comprehensive course-offering schedule, our program is one of the largest programs in California.
