Dr. Gerard Beenen, professor of management, teaches courses in negotiation, organizational behavior, team leadership, and leading change. Previously he was associate dean of the college and chair of the department of management. His prior roles include CEO of a healthcare organization, co-founder of a dot-com, and a consultant with both Bain & Company and Ernst & Young. He currently serves as a scientific research advisor with a consulting firm focused on culture change and effectiveness, and is chair of the Management Education and Development (MED) Division of the Academy of Management. His expertise includes motivation, interpersonal skills, creativity, team effectiveness and change. He has a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and theory from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Dr. Hunter Phoenix Van Wagoner is an assistant professor of management at Cal State Fullerton. Prior to this, Van Wagoner was a postdoctoral researcher in the Organizational Leadership and Diversity research group at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart, Germany. He earned his Ph.D. from The University of Colorado Boulder. Van Wagoner's research is interdisciplinary and converges at the intersection of diversity, mental health and leadership.
