Next Steps
Congratulations on your admission and welcome to College of Business and Economics! To ensure a smooth transition to CSUF, please carefully review and complete your next steps below.
First-Year Students: Next Steps
STEP 1: Accept Admission by May 1, 2022 - accept your admission and pay the non-refundable enrollment deposit through your portal. Learn more about accepting admission and next steps through the Office of Admission.
STEP 2: Sign up for First-Time Freshmen Orientation. Orientation will be offered both in person or online. Advising and registration support for your first semester will be provided as part of your chosen orientation. Please continue to check the Titan Orientation Programs website for information as it becomes available.
STEP 3: Complete the General Education Advising Modules. Complete the General Education (GE) Advising Modules . You will have access starting in June 2022 and need to complete the modules before you register for the fall semester.
STEP 4: Complete ALEKS (if applicable). Starting June 1, Business Administration and Economics majors can complete the ALEKS Assessment for calculus readiness. If eligible, you will receive an email regarding the ALEKS assessment. You should complete it to determine the math course you can register for in your first semester. You must start ALEKS at least a week before registration and complete it at least 48 business hours before registering. Fall registration begins June 23, 2022.
Transfer Students: Next Steps
STEP 1: Accept Admission by May 1, 2022. Learn more about accepting admission and next steps through the Office of Admission. Once you have accepted admission, you will receive an Advising registration hold and must complete STEP 2 to have the hold removed.
STEP 2:
Mandatory New Transfer Student Advising Process.Transfer students must complete their mandatory New Transfer Student Advising Process via Canvas before registering for classes. You will have access to complete the process on May 9, and will receive an email from the Business Advising Center to your
CSUF email address
with instructions. Upon completion, you will have an understanding of your first semester class schedule and program requirements. Be sure to check your CSUF email regularly for updates.
STEP 3: Online Transfer Orientation. Available starting in June 2022. Online Orientation is self-paced and completed on your own. Orientation is not available in person. Visit the Titan Orientation Programs website for details.
STEP 4: Registration. Registration for newly admitted transfer students begins June 9, 2022. You can view your enrollment date (PDF) on or after June 9 in your Student Homepage.

International Students
International Students who are freshmen are required to participate in Freshman Orientation. International Transfer Students are required to complete the Online Transfer Orientation. For details on your next steps, please visit the International Student Services website and download the new student checklist.
Fullerton Finish Scholars Program
Fullerton Finish Scholars are first-time freshmen and transfer students, admitted in the fall semester, who commit to graduate in a four or two year period.
