Dr. Nimer Alrushiedat is a lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Decision Science. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University. He earned his M.S. in MSIS from Cal State Fullerton and B.S. in Computer Science from Cal State Los Angeles. His current research focuses on social learning, information and knowledge sharing, and IT and improved learning. He has several Journal publications and conference proceedings. He teaches courses on Quantitative Business Analysis and Management Science.
His main aim is to make valuable contributions in teaching and research, be a team player, and work hard towards improved teaching and learning. He strongly believes in the mission of “learning is preeminent” and simply that there is no teaching if there is no learning. Optimizing and enriching the student’s learning experience are core values that he holds dearly close.
At Cal State Fullerton, he highly values having a nurturing environment that delivers superb education under a climate of cooperation, mutual respect, trust, and support for both teaching and research. He is the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics recipient of the 2008 Outstanding Part-time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching and Service.
