Executive Vice President, Business Operations, Cable Entertainment
Beth Roberts is Chief Operating Officer of Universal Cable Productions and Executive Vice President, Business Affairs Cable Entertainment & Cable Studios. In her current position, she is involved in running the production studio for Universal cable’s film and TV productions as well as leading the business affairs activities for the company’s entertainment cable properties (including USA, Syfy, Bravo, Oxygen networks and others). Earlier she served as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs for the NBC Entertainment and Cable Entertainment Divisions, where she headed the Business Affairs department for NBC Universal Entertainment and Cable Entertainment. She managed all network and cable acquisitions and music services, including deals for pilots, series, specials, movies and miniseries, license fee agreements and reality programming. Prior to that Beth managed the business affairs departments for NBC Network and NBC Studios as Senior Vice President, NBC Studios Business Affairs, supervising all talent and production negotiation for the NBC production studio. Before joining NBC, she was the Director, Business Affairs and Legal for UPN and, prior to that, worked for the William Morris Agency. In addition, Beth is consistently ranked among the Hollywood Reporter's Power 100 annual listing of influential female executives in Hollywood. Beth received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her law degree from Boston University School of Law.
